Oset is a tile factory located in a privileged point in the province of Castellón, the town of Ribesalbes, which is bathed by the waters of the Mijares River and makes the care and conservation of the environment a special commitment.
Our journey as tile manufacturers in Castellón begins in the 40s, when the founders began to dedicate themselves to the manufacture of artistic ceramics.
But it was in the 1960s when Oset changed its production to skirting boards, listels and special ceramic pieces in various formats.

The company was founded on March 8, 1973
However, during the 40s the founders were already dedicated to the manufacture of artistic ceramics, under the name of Jose Oset Balaguer. In the 1960s, it changed its production to skirting boards, listels and special pieces in various formats.
The current limited company was created in 1973.
Currently, its range of products has expanded with the manufacture of red-body stoneware and porcelain floor and wall tiles in various formats and finishes. Various textures such as wood, stones, rustic and special pieces, with a wide variety of designs oriented towards interior design and decoration projects, which are produced in the factory located in Ribesalbes (Castellón).

Subsidies
JOSÉ OSET Y CIA S.L., has carried out the project “digitization and sensorization of production plants and data collection on IoT equipment” for which they have obtained financial support from ivace through the SME digitalization projects program (digitaliza-cv) 2020, with a subsidy of €10,500.00.
This subsidy has 50% financial support from ivace and the European regional development fund (feder) through the feder operational program of the Valencian community 2014 -2020.
On December 21, 2017, the presidency of ivace has granted JOSÉ OSET Y CIA S.L. support for the following project:
Oset 2017 internationalization plan.
“INVESTMENTS AIMED TO IMPROVE EXISTING PRODUCTION LINES IN THE RIBESALBES PRODUCTION CENTER:
The project titled “Investments aimed at improving existing production lines in the Ribesalbes production center”, presented to the 2018 Reindustrialization and Promotion of Industrial Competitiveness Program and with file number RCI-040000-2018-286, has received from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, financing in the amount of €415,711.00.”
